The local homebuilding industry is a competitive one, so it says a lot that Vasiliou Homes has been recognized and rewarded time and time again for some of the best built and designed homes in the area. During the past four years Vasiliou Homes has submitted entries for the annual Saratoga Builders Association Showcase of Homes, marking the only time a female builder has participated in the competition.

Kiliaen at Rivercrest, Vasiliou Homes 2005 Showcase Home, was recognized by the judges with awards for Best Architectural Exterior, Best Interior Floor Plan, Best Kitchen, Best Bathroom, Best Bedroom, Best Interior Decorating, Best Unique Feature, Best Workmanship, and the Silver Award in the People's Choice Award. The Professional Builder Awards were judged by a panel of Capital District, Saratoga, and North Country Builders.
